Fat-Bomb Chocolate Smoothie

SERVES 1

1 whole avocado or half a large one pitted and peeled (approx. 125g)

50ml double cream — use coconut cream for dairy free

1 egg, higher welfare like organic or pasture raised*

1–2 tablespoons cacao

pinch salt

natural sweetener like stevia or raw organic honey to taste

Ingredients

Blitz together the avocado cream, egg, cacao and pinch of salt till smooth. Taste and adjust the cacao, or add sweetener to your preference.


Thin out the mixture with half a cup of ice or a splash of water.


*Remove the egg if you’re pregnant, immune suppressed, or just cautious of raw egg. You can use a scoop of low-carb protein powder or collagen powder to increase protein, instead.
