RACHEL LETT

This is a grown up hot chocolate — lusciously thick, smooth and bittersweet.

There have been requests to sell it at Christmas markets... it's that good!

Avoid drinking too late at night if you're sensitive to the caffeine in cacao, as it will keep you awake.

Hot Chocolate

SERVES 1

240ml cup of almond milk

1 tablespoon cacao

1 teaspoon chia seeds

pinch salt

1 teaspoon sweetener

dash of vanilla extract


Optional

1 tablespoon collagen

2 tablespoon cream 

Ingredients

Add all the ingredients to a high powered blender and blitz till everything has emulsified and smooth.

Add the chocolate mixture to a saucepan and bring to a boil over a medium heat, stirring continuously. It will thicken a bit more as it heats.

Adjust the seasoning, serve and enjoy!
